We are serious about teaming up with families to produce young men and women who are passionate about being disciples of Jesus Christ. In addition, we see the value of providing an atmosphere of Christian community among young people and their peers. Students need to have a place to grow in their relationship with Christ, especially those who don’t have Christian parents to look to for leadership. Therefore, we provide events on a weekly basis that allow teenagers to experience Christian fellowship among their peers, worship God through song and service, and sit under the teaching of the Scriptures.
However, the Student Ministry is not a separate entity within the church; thus, we desire to be a multiethnic, Christ exalting and kingdom advancing ministry. We accomplish these goals by taking teenagers to the truth of God’s Word to teach the centrality of Christ in all things and his commands for our lives, but we also acknowledge that we cannot produce the same effect in teenagers that their Christian parents can. Therefore, we strive to equip and encourage parents to fulfill their God-given responsibility of training and teaching their children in the ways of the LORD at home (see Deut. 6:4-9).

Sunday Mornings, 9:30 am
Sunday Bible Fellowship (SBF):
The student ministry provides small group opportunities at 9:30 am. These groups are designed to grow fellowship centered around the Word of God. These small groups are both age graded and gender specific. Our SBF leaders are trained adults, who have a passion for seeing our teenagers grow in their relationship with Christ.
Sunday Nights, 6 - 7:30 pm
Overflow
Students 6th – 12th grade and adult leaders meet upstairs in the student ministry room for a fun and exciting time of games and worship followed by gospel-centered preaching and teaching. This event is designed to be the entry point into the student ministry and thus the obvious choice for our students to begin bringing their friends.
Wednesday Evenings, 6:30 – 7:30 pm
Mid-Week at MBBC:
All students are invited to our church-wide Midweek Gathering. This is an important time for the students to participate in the life of our church as we worship, sing, pray, fellowship and sit under the teaching of the Scriptures together.
Throughout the year, we balance our calendar with outreach events, mission trips, gender specific events, offsite retreats, and special events that are designed for just plain fun.
