Like Sunday Bible Fellowships, Home Bible Fellowships exist to develop distinctively Christian relationships through Word-based fellowship. However, while Sunday Bible Fellowships meet at the church on Sunday mornings, Home Bible Fellowships meet at different times throughout the week in homes around the community. Home Bible Fellowships provide a venue for you to get connected to a smaller group of adults for fellowship, prayer, and Bible study.
Some of our Home Bible Fellowships are organized around a particular season of life (i.e. singles, young married, etc.) while others are organized regionally. So, whether you want to meet with people who are walking through your same season of life, or with people who live in your community, there is a Home Bible Fellowship for you!
Childcare is available at the church for Home Bible Fellowships that meet on Sunday evenings. For this reason, the majority of our Home Bible Fellowships meet on Sunday evenings. So, if you are a part of a Home Bible Fellowship that meets on Sunday evening, you would have the option of dropping your children off at the church before you go to your Bible Fellowship and then picking them up afterward. Childcare options for Home Bible Fellowships that do not meet on Sunday evenings vary from group to group.
Home Bible Fellowships usually last between an hour and an hour and a half. During this time the group has time to fellowship with one another, pray together, and then study God’s Word through a discussion-oriented lesson. What the group studies varies somewhat from group to group. There may be times in which a group does a topical study, but for the most part groups are walking through books of the Bible with an emphasis placed on thinking through as a group how the Scripture affects their lives.
