Jesus has given His church pastors and teachers for the purpose of equipping the saints “for the work of ministry” (Eph. 4:11-12). Our Equipped for Ministry program exists to do just that.

What types of equipping formats do you offer?

We have three different formats to equip you for ministry: Equipped 1-on-1, Equipped Classes, and Equipped Seminars…

Equipped 1-on-1 is a personal mentorship program in which you meet one on one with a spiritual mentor in order to become more distinctively Christian.

Equipped Classes can last anywhere from six to thirteen weeks depending upon the class. We offer classes every fall and spring and even some during the summer. Look below for a master list of our Equipped Classes as well as current classes.

Equipped Seminars are short workshops that focus on specific and practical topics. Seminars are usually offered at the church on Fridays and Saturdays.

In what areas of life do you equip people?

We have identified six areas in which disciples of Jesus need to be equipped so that they can do and be all they have been called to. We want to equip you for ministry by equipping you to think, be, relate, serve, steward, and witness. Every Equipped Class and Seminar is categorized under one of these six areas.

How do I know what class or seminar to take?

We have designed a Spiritual Health Assessment to help you identify the area of life in which you are weakest and need the most equipping. We encourage you not to take classes and seminars you are simply interested in, but to take ones that address an area of personal weakness. The pastors of MBBC strongly encourage every member to be involved in at least one equipping opportunity each semester.

How do I sign up for a class & what is the cost?

Please signup before the semester begins by following the registration link at the bottom of this page. However, you are able to join most classes mid-semester. The cost for each class/seminar varies. The cost covers the book and/or materials used and in most cases the book is optional.
